Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PetImage at petimage.app collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you create AI pet portraits, manage an account, make a purchase, or otherwise use the service.

Information We Collect

1. Account information: name, email address, email-verification status, account identifiers, profile settings, and security records.
2. Pet photos and generated content: photos you upload, selected templates, generation records, generated portraits, download records, and technical error details.
3. Usage and device information: pages viewed, feature interactions, browser or device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referral and campaign parameters, cookies, and similar identifiers.
4. Purchase and membership records: product, price, currency, order and transaction identifiers, payment status, membership status, credit grants and usage, invoice links, and limited customer details returned by the payment provider.
5. Support communications: messages and order details you send when requesting help.

PetImage does not directly collect or store full payment-card numbers. Payment details are entered with the payment provider and processed under that provider's privacy terms.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• create and secure accounts;
• upload photos, run AI generation, save results, and manage credits;
• create checkouts, confirm payments, manage memberships, prevent duplicate credit grants, and send receipts or service notices;
• provide support and investigate failed payments or generations;
• measure product performance, attribution, reliability, fraud, and abuse;
• screen generation prompts and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy; and
• comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and payment-network obligations.

Service Providers and Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed with service providers that operate PetImage, currently including:

• Creem, for checkout, merchant-of-record services, subscription management, tax, fraud prevention, and prompt moderation;
• EVolink and its underlying AI infrastructure, to generate the requested portrait from the selected template and uploaded image;
• Vercel and cloud storage providers, to host the application and store uploaded and generated images;
• Resend, to deliver account, purchase, renewal, and operational emails; and
• analytics and security providers enabled on the site, such as Google Analytics, where configured.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of assets subject to appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and Analytics

PetImage uses cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, security, language preferences, anonymous visitor measurement, attribution, and analytics. Browser controls can block optional cookies, but essential account and security features may not work without required cookies.

Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and credit records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and provider. You may request account or content deletion by contacting PetImage Support. Some transaction, security, and legal records may need to be retained after an account is deleted.

International Processing

PetImage and its providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may update basic profile information in account settings or contact us to make a request. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

Children's Privacy

PetImage is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. Do not use the service or provide personal information if you are not legally permitted to do so. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted network connections. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect product, provider, or legal changes. We will post the revised version and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice before a material change takes effect.
